As a new ESE/SpEd teacher, I needed a way that my students could participate in Black History Month activities in a meaningful way with the supports they need. The flash cards helped them better understand the contributions of the individuals (past and present) without them needing to do an overwhelming amount of research. I will use them with future classes, no matter the grade level. Once laminated, they'll last through years of student use.
My kids love to do word searches. I think that they are great to use in the resource room because it allows them to search for words that they may not know and helps them also learn the new words.
